Hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) are fourth-generation fluorinated materials that are used as refrigerants, blowing agents, propellants, and solvents. They have ultra-low global warming potential and do not deplete the ozone layer. They are a new generation of ODS substitutes after hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).


R1234yf refrigerant, also known as HFO-1234yf, chemical composition tetrafluoropropene, is the fourth generation of new environmentally friendly refrigerants, jointly developed by two international chemical companies, Honeywell and DuPont. Its GWP is only 4, 99.7% lower than R134a. It can almost completely replace R134a directly and has little impact on the environment because it can be decomposed into harmless substances.

HFO-1234yf can be used in refrigerator refrigerant, fire extinguishing agent, heat transfer medium, propellant, foaming agent, foaming agent, gas medium, sterilant carrier, polymer monomer, particle removal fluid, carrier gas fluid, grinding and polishing agent, replacement desiccant, electric cycle working fluid and other fields.


R1233zd refrigerant, chemical composition monochlorotrifluoropropene, is a non-flammable ultra-low GWP alternative for low-pressure centrifugal chillers. R1233zd refrigerant can replace R-123. It has a GWP of 1, which is 99.9% lower than R-245fa.

R1233zd refrigerant has excellent properties such as low toxicity and non-flammability. It can be used as a refrigerant, and can also be used as a physical foaming agent for polyurethane rigid foam and other insulation materials that provide better insulation performance.


R1234ze refrigerant, chemical composition trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoroprop-1-ene, is an energy-efficient, ultra-low GWP refrigerant that can replace R-134a. R1234ze refrigerant is suitable for air-cooled and water-cooled chillers in supermarkets and commercial buildings, as well as other medium-temperature applications.

The GWP of HFO-1234ze refrigerant is less than 1, which is better than the target set by the existing environmental protection regulations. It can reduce 99.6% of carbon dioxide emissions and 27% of energy consumption. In the medium temperature refrigeration system, it has higher energy efficiency than R134a refrigerant.

R1234ze can also be used in water-cooled units, vending machines, heat pumps, CO2 cascade systems, clothes dryers, etc.
