About R32 refrigerant

The chemical name of R32 refrigerant is difluoromethane, and its molecular formula is CH2F2. Difluoromethane is a coolant with zero ozone depletion potential. It is a gas at room temperature and a colorless transparent liquid under its own pressure. It is easily soluble in oil but hardly soluble in water.

Application of R32 Refrigerant

R32 refrigerant is used as a raw material for special refrigerants or mixed refrigerants R407 / R410 / R504, etc.

R32 Refrigerant Safety Guidelines

1. It is strictly forbidden to run the R32 system without vacuuming.

2. It is strictly forbidden to run the compressor without load when the valve is open.

3. It is strictly forbidden to remove the connecting pipe to check whether the compressor has suction and exhaust (whether there is gas discharge from the small valve).

4. It is strictly forbidden to start up and run without the valve open.

5. It is strictly forbidden to use the air conditioner’s own compressor for pressure leak detection.

6. It is strictly forbidden to vacuumize the compressor itself.

7. It is strictly forbidden to start up and run in a vacuum state.

8. It is strictly forbidden to add refrigerants of different working fluids or low-quality refrigerants.

9. Refrigerant recovery is strictly prohibited for more than 2 minutes (applicable to household machines).

10. It is strictly forbidden to shield protection devices such as overload protector, exhaust high temperature protection, overcurrent protection, high and low voltage protection.

In addition to safe operation, R32 should not be careless in actual storage. It should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, and the temperature of the container should not exceed 50°C. Keep away from fire, heat sources and direct sunlight. should be kept away from oxidizer, do not store together. The lighting, ventilation and other facilities in the storage room should be explosion-proof, and the switches should be located outside the warehouse.
