How Much Do You Know About Household Air-conditioning Refrigerants?

The weather has been getting hotter recently, and the frequency of use of air conditioners at home has increased. Some friends do not feel cool when using the air conditioner. At this time, the first reaction is that the air conditioner is short of refrigerant. How much do you know about refrigerants?
Introduction of household air conditioner refrigerant
Air-conditioning refrigerant is the working medium of the refrigeration cycle of air-conditioning equipment. You can understand that the refrigerant is the blood of the air conditioner compressor, and the air conditioner cannot be cooled without refrigerant.
Model of household air conditioner refrigerant
Household fixed-frequency air conditioners use R22 refrigerant, and household inverter air conditioners use R410A or R32 refrigerant.
R22 refrigerant
R22, difluorochloromethane, is a hydrogen-containing chlorofluorocarbon, a colorless gas with a slightly sweet smell.
R22 refrigerant is harmful to the ozone layer and has a greenhouse effect. Therefore, in developed countries (European Union, Japan, the United States), the initial installation of new air conditioners and refrigeration equipment has been stopped. The phase-out process of developing countries is slightly slower than that of developed countries, and production and consumption must be frozen in 2013. It will be cut from 2015, given a 17-year buffer period, and completely phased out in 2030.
R410A refrigerant
R410A refrigerant, mainly composed of hydrogen, fluorine and carbon elements, has the characteristics of stability, non-toxicity and superior performance. At the same time, it can reduce the damage to the ozone layer.
R410A is internationally recognized as the most suitable refrigerant to replace R22, and has been popularized in Europe, America, Japan, and other countries.
R32 refrigerant
R32 refrigerant, short for difluoromethane, is a refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential. It is a gas at room temperature, and a colorless transparent liquid under its own pressure, easily soluble in oil, but hardly soluble in water.
As a new generation of energy-saving, carbon-reducing, environmentally friendly and non-toxic refrigerant, R32 has become an excellent choice.
Reminder: R32 refrigerant is easy to explode, it is not recommended to add and replace it by yourself. It is best to leave it to a professional master to operate.
