Honeywell R1234ze refrigerant, also known as Solstice® ze (HFO 1234ze), is a low GWP refrigerant.
Introduction of R1234ze refrigerant
The global warming index of R1234ze refrigerant is only 6, which is better than the target set by the existing environmental protection regulations. It can reduce 99.6% of carbon dioxide emissions and 27% of energy consumption. In the medium temperature refrigeration system, it has higher energy efficiency than R134a.
Application of R1234ze refrigerant
It can be used in water cooling units, vending machines, heat pumps, CO2 cascade systems, clothes dryers, etc.
Storage and transportation of R1234ze Refrigerant
R1234ze refrigerant cylinders are pressurized containers. When storing, it should be kept away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight, and usually stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse. When handling, it should be loaded and unloaded lightly to prevent damage to cylinders, valves, and other accessories.
Advantages of R1234ze refrigerant
R1234ze refrigerant can replace R134a, can be quickly retrofitted, and has the same performance as medium-pressure refrigerants such as R134a, and only needs minor changes to switch to Solstice L-13.
